About Dee Dawson

Dee Dawson is a master’s level therapist with over 10 years of experience in counseling. After receiving his undergrad degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, he was awarded his Master’s degree from Alabama State University in Montgomery.

His background and areas of experience include working with at-risk youth, people struggling with drug abuse, both children and adults, federal or state offenders, and last but not least, children in foster care.

Dee has a passion for helping others achieve their short and long-term goals by implementing different theories learned in his training at Alabama State.

When Dee is not providing counseling to others, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite quotes is “the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary”. So, he tells clients that they have to work at reaching their goals if they want to be successful.
